Portraiture photograph is not really my thing. As I often say, I prefer to photograph things that don’t move or talk back at me. But this was a Robert Cummings moment for sure.
Bighorn sheep are at home in the rocky expanse of the higher elevations in Zion and occasionally a small herd (herdlett?) hold forth near the road, causing roadside parking problems and traffic jams. It’s always a very special treat to see them. And in this case I’ll make an exception to my rule of not photographing things that move (other than water). But they don’t talk back at me. So it’s OK.
