The Roar of the Surf (2016)
I thought it would be exciting here. I had been seeing big surf for days now and I wondered if it would still be as big, as exciting. So it was with anticipation that I walked out on to the point of land at the south end of Garrapata State Park and looked up the coast. I was not disappointed. The waves were still rolling in and had not diminished at all. The waves roared through, engulfing and overwhelming the rocks and cliffs. Watching this display of power is mesmerizing and it’s difficult to tear yourself away. It was such a thrill.
