Photographs that reveeal the magic and wonder of Death Valley National Park.
Rhyolite Dawn (2014)
Under the hot Nevada sun, Rhyolite looks barren and bleak. The few remnants of this once proud and prosperous town of 10,000 stand crumbling in this harsh land. The blazing heat of summer and the howling blizzards of winter all take their toll. But occasionally a quite magic descends on the once bustling town, treating early rising photographers and whatever ghosts remain to a spectacular show of glorious, soft light.
