Lone Pine Peak (2011)
Tall, majestic, and powerful, Lone Pine Peak stands high above the Alabama Hills. It is understandable that it’s often mistaken for its taller cousin, Mount Whitney, because of its rugged good looks. Clouds cannot soften its stark majesty. Rather, the contrast makes it even more regal. Snow only serves to enhance its crags and precipices. Lofty, soaring, scraping the very sky, it demands your attention and your awe.
