Mauseturn (Mouse Tower - 2010)
River Rhein, Germany

Castles have been built on this small island since Roman times.  In 970 Archbishop Hatto II died after spending the night in the castle and being overcome by thousands of mice.  From that time forward it was called the Mouse Tower.  The castle was destroyed by French troops in 1689 and rebuilt by the Prussians in 1855.
