| General Information | ||
|
Death Valley likes to boast that it is the hottest, driest and lowest place in North America. But amidst all the harshness Death Valley has its gentle side that attracts photographers from all over the world. From Bad Water, at 282 feet below sea level the lowest spot on the Western Hemisphere, to Dante's View, nearly a mile above, to Telescope Peak, nearly two miles above, Death Valley offers a diverse and rich environment. We have photographed Death Valley many times and know the best locations and when to be there to get the incredible light only found in the desert. We will be on the go from sunrise to sunset each day. Death Valley is an enormous place which entails a great deal of
driving. We will encourage car pooling. High clearance vehicles We will offer a print review for anyone who wishes to participate. You can bring 4 to 6 of your photographs 8X10 or larger. Jack and Ralph will provide feedback on photographic and post processing techniques. |
