{"id":544,"date":"2009-09-14T18:44:43","date_gmt":"2009-09-15T02:44:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ralphnordstromphotography.com\/wordpress\/2009\/09\/14\/size-matters\/"},"modified":"2019-11-20T10:25:53","modified_gmt":"2019-11-20T18:25:53","slug":"size-matters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ralphnordstromphotography.com\/wordpress\/2009\/09\/14\/size-matters\/","title":{"rendered":"Size Matters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I spent the past couple of weeks making almost fifteen large prints for a client.\u00a0 Image sizes were 13X20 and 16X24.\u00a0 Boy, it was fun.\u00a0 I\u2019ve worked with these images over the years.\u00a0 They were all 10X15.\u00a0 But kicking them up even just one notch takes them into an entirely different realm.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a title=\"Royal Succession\" href=\"http:\/\/ralphnordstromphotography.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/royalsuccessionmasterfile.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;\" title=\"Royal Succession\" src=\"http:\/\/ralphnordstromphotography.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/royalsuccessionmasterfile-thumb.jpg\" alt=\"Royal Succession\" width=\"272\" height=\"192\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> Royal Succession (2005)<\/p>\n<p>Even what seems like a modest step from 10X15 to 13X20 makes a huge difference.\u00a0 There\u2019s more to it than just the impact of a larger image.\u00a0 Subtle details emerge that are are not readily apparent at the smaller size.\u00a0 Colors seem a little more vibrant.
